A letter to the zoo results in all sorts of exciting animals being dispatched. But none of them are quite right – until the last page! Can you guess which exotic animal is hiding in each box? Peek beneath the flaps to see! A classic flap book favourite in a sturdy board edition, full of animal surprises and roaring, squeaking, grunting noises to make.

I read this book when I was wee or rather my mum read it to me. It’s in my sister’s room and I haven’t seen it in ages but she’s reading it to me now! I always used to love opening the flaps to find out what strange animal the guy had been sent ( such as a lion, a snake, a monkey etc.) and then laughed when I found out what the guy thought of them! He never liked them until (if you don’t want to know the ending DON’T read this) in the end the zoo sent him a puppy and he was perfect so he kept him! Awww!
