A thirteen-year-old boy, James Bond, is sent to Eton after the death of his parents. He has no idea how to fit into the alien world of the public school, and starts to make enemies immediately. But it’s when he goes home to Scotland to stay with his aunt and uncle that he’s caught up in a web of intrigue and danger. A local Laird, master of the bleak and ominous castle in the nearby loch, is doing something very sinister and dangerous indeed… something that only James can uncover. Surrounded by freezing black water, insane villains and some fishy creations straight out of a nightmare, can James stay alive long enough to thwart the Laird’s horrific plans?
